I returned to New York safely, although my luggage was ridiculously heavy. I managed to stay under the 23kg weight limit, though, thank goodness. Then the flight was delayed because of thunderstorms in New York. I was super confused and the waiter was the first person I met who didn’t speak English! But I was told about apertivos, and how food comes with your drink, so I ordered the sweetest/fuitiest/weakest-sounding drink on the menu, the ladybug. By the time I was done, I had a headache!
